Program Goals

Serve students in Grades 1st – 8th

Teach Islam in a holistic, relevant, and engaging way

Reflect on the Qur’an and develop connections (to students’ lives)

Curriculum

Students will be taught three main subjects: Islamic studies, Qur’anic studies and Arabic studies. AIM seeks to:

  • Promote project-based learning
  • Increase field trips and group activities to foster unity and friendships
  • Focus on leadership and social responsibility

Islamic Studies

Students will learn about the fundamentals of Islam, including belief (aqeedah), worship (ibada), life of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH (seerah), Islamic history, and character education (akhlaq) in a relevant and engaging manner. To view the Islamic Studies curriculum, click here.

Quranic Studies

Students will memorize specific portions of the Qur’an, learn vocabulary, and engage in in-depth discussion and application of the meanings of the respective verses. In addition, the students will learn to read the Qur’an at an intermediate level. The aim is for students to be able to read, understand, and reflect on the Quran. To view the Quranic Studies curriculum, click here.

Arabic Language

We will be using a variety of trusted books and educational resources to build a strong and dynamic Arabic curriculum. The primary goal is to give students a platform to explore the Arabic language and gradually connect it to their understanding of the Qur’an and Salah. Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary development and oral fluency to support religious and academic growth.

This optional course is open to all students and will serve as a critical stepping stone in developing both language and spiritual understanding.
